Violin
Cal Alexander
Bio: Cal is a freshman violinist from Shreveport, Louisiana, living in Wigglesworth Hall. He plans to concentrate in Social Studies and English while pursuing a Master’s of Music with Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory. Outside of HRO, Cal performs with the Brattle Street Chamber Players, the Harvard College Opera, and his piano trio. Cal also teaches in PBHA’s Harmony program and is an Opinion Writer on the Crimson’s Editorial Board. You can usually find Cal snacking on milk and cookies or struggling through his readings in Barker Cafe.
Aaron Berger
Bio: Aaron is a violinist and junior in Cabot House studying Computer Science. When he isn’t playing Ultimate Frisbee, he’s “boolin’” or eating Hamantaschen, even when it isn’t Purim.
Avinashi Bhandari
Bio: Avinashi is a sophomore violinist in Mather House studying Physics and Chemistry. When she isn’t playing violin, she likes playing with molecules (doing research). Her favorite late night activities include lying on the floor and haunting the physics library. She is a big Shostakovich fan and enjoys drinking tea.
Ethan Chaves
Bio: Ethan is a sophomore violinist in Winthrop House studying Psychology and Music. He is also a dual-degree student majoring in composition at the New England Conservatory of Music. At HRO, Ethan serves as ad manager on the general board. In addition to HRO, he is a video executive at The Harvard Crimson and a member of the Harvard Alternative Investments.
Kevin Cho
Bio: Kevin is a sophomore violinist in Winthrop House studying Neuroscience. Aside from HRO, he is a part of the Harvard Crimson, the Fencing Club, and the Canada Club. If he isn’t chowing down on strawberry cheesecake ice cream or playing Pokemon GO, he is most likely playing with his dog, Toto.
Noemi Gilbert
Bio: Noemi is a freshman violinist originally from Sweden now living in Canaday. She loves late-night practice sessions with friends as well as sight reading, especially Schumann and Beethoven. Outside of HRO, Noemi can be found hunting for new elderflower drinks to discover or snacking on Goji berries, mint Milano cookies, and plain rice.
Matthew Ho
Bio: Matthew is a junior violinist native to Lowell House. He is concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in economics. He would explain why he’s chosen this concentration, but saying the name again would push him past the word count. Besides ironically playing Sul G in rehearsal and checking the HRO insta, Matthew enjoys doing biology research at MGH (making his cell lines light up like a rave party), collecting plastic silverware (just in case, ya know?), and microwaving rice till just before it explodes.
Sophiette Hong
Bio: Sophiette is a freshman violinist in Thayer concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. Her favorite day of the week is Monday because that’s when the Chicken & Rice Guys food truck is in the yard. Aside from HRO, Sophiette enjoys watching K-Dramas, playing squash, and taking walks with her dog Finn.
Lizzy Huang
Bio: Lizzy is a freshman violinist from Shaker Heights, Ohio, now living in Thayer and is also an HRO stage manager. Lizzy’s food passions include Whole Foods lemonade, honey mustard pretzels, extra toasty Cheez-Its, and wasabi peas, and her extracurricular passions include sleeping, sleeping, and sleeping.
Henry Jackson
Bio: Henry is a freshman violinist from metro-Detroit, Michigan in Weld studying Applied Math and Economics. Outside of HRO, Henry is involved in Brattle Street Chamber, PBHA Harmony, the Behavioral Strategy Group, and the Harvard Investment Association. When not doing academic work, Henry enjoys playing basketball at Hemenway, competing in weekly poker games, and playing board games late at night with his friends.
Ella Kim
Bio: Ella is a freshman violinist from the greater Boston area now living in Wigglesworth. She plans to concentrate in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy (read: she likes big words). She is HRO's Publicity Director and is additionally involved in HARMONY and AAWA. Outside of HRO, Ella can be found thrifting, hunting for the best matcha latte in Cambridge, and napping on the floor in Cabot.
Cherin Lee
Bio: Cherin is a senior violinist from Brisbane, Australia in Winthrop House concentrating in English.
Christine Lee
Bio: Christine is a senior violinist in Quincy House studying Chemistry and Computer Science (and maybe a secondary in music if she can stop procrastinating and actually figure out if she can graduate). Outside of HRO, she is involved in Harvard MEDLIFE, PBHA's Alzheimer's Buddies, WiCS, and actively trying not to burn down the Chemistry department with slightly questionable substances. If something happens, it wasn't her. Promise. Guaranteed 100% of 13% of the time.
Angela Li
Bio: Angela is a senior violinist in Mather House studying Statistics and Computer Science. Aside from HRO, she is also involved in AACF and PBHA’s Chinatown ESL. In her free time, she loves adventuring and anything nature-related, especially watching sunsets.
Enoch Li
Bio: Enoch is a sophomore violinist in Kirkland House studying Mathematics who loves all things music. When he isn’t sight reading chamber music with friends or obsessing over orchestral scores, you may find him chilling out with friends late at night, sipping a salty lime 7-up, or aggressively cringing at insects and any and all romance scenes on TV. Enoch sometimes snacks on spoonfuls of ketchup and/or chicken bouillon powder (when he’s feeling spicy).
Kevin Miura
Bio: Kevin is a junior violinist hailing from Pfoho (#quadlife). He is concentrating in Chemistry and is competing with his roommate for the worst schedule the Pfoho resident dean has ever seen. Kevin’s harshest critic is his cockatiel, who will only chirp if he plays in tune. When he is not playing violin for HRO or his bird, Kevin enjoys making drip coffee in his room, riding to every possible stop on the T, and explaining why every piece of stationery he owns is absolutely necessary for his academic success. Kevin would appreciate any advice for fixing his sleep schedule (it’s gotten worse).
Ashini Modi
Bio: Ashini is a sophomore violinist in Eliot House concentrating in Astrophysics. Aside from HRO, she is involved in the Harvard Science Review, the Food Literacy Project, the Green Medicine Initiative, Deepam, and Ghungroo. She can often be found eating apples and peanut butter while watching criminal minds, snacking on dried mango and sour patch kids, sipping sweet tea, or making an iced mocha in the dhall.
Ozioma Obi
Bio: Ozioma is a freshman violinist from Greenville, North Carolina planning to concentrate in Neuroscience and (potentially) Music. He lives in Mower but can most often be found in Cabot, drowning out his Psets with Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin and various Afrobeats. Outside of HRO, Ozioma is on board for Harvard Nigerian Student Association and enjoys vlogging during late-night walks (back from Cabot, of course).
Ebun Oguntola
Bio: Ebun is a freshman violinist in Grays studying Mathematics and Music and is also an HRO stage manager. She is obsessed with the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul Series, and is additionally a proud Swiftie (though her favorite classical composer is Debussy). She also loves Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and “literally any liquid that’s carbonated.” Late at night, Ebun can be found mindlessly scrolling through Instagram and Sidechat while procrastinating on her Psets.
Olivia Oh
Bio: Olivia is a freshman violinist originally from New York City now living in Wigglesworth. Between her daily afternoon naps and late-night DJing, Olivia is an avid foodie: she can make a delectable Annenberg latte and enjoys Diet Coke, Sour patch kids, and much more – check out her food Instagram (@oliolioli_eats!)
Hannah Park
Bio: Hannah is a sophomore violinist in Kirkland House concentrating in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry. Outside of HRO, she is co-treasurer of the Harvard Pre-Medical Society and also volunteers to help critically ill children and their families when not in class. Since coming to college, she has learned that anything, and she means anything, can fit in a dhall paper cup to be eaten on the go. Hannah also may or may not have a generously-sized collection of dhall cereal in her dorm. Not to get too specific, of course.
Skye Park
Bio: Skye is a senior violinist in Mather studying Government (red flag) with a secondary in Music. She is addicted to sleep, coffee, chonky shoes, and complaining about the food in Boston.
Serin Park
Bio: Serin is a sophomore violinist from New York living in Winthrop. She is a WHRBie, celsius-stan, and ice-lover, concentrating in Neuroscience.
Catherine Previn
Bio: Catherine is a freshman violinist living in Thayer concentrating in Government and Economics. From New York , New York, Catherine can often be found in Harvard Square during her late-night CVS and Jefe’s runs. Her favorite piece is Mahler’s 3rd Symphony, and her favorite foods include Cheerios, Fage Greek yogurt, and dried mangoes.
Matthew Sakiyama
Bio: Matthew is a junior violinist living in Lowell House and concentrating in Computer Science. In addition to HRO, he is also a member of HKA and WHRB, and the Associate Arts Editor for Harvard Independent. He enjoys going on walks, sleeping, and listening to Phillip Glass.

Michelle Stern
Bio: Michelle is a junior violinist living in Mather House and concentrating in Mathematics and Government. She is the Vice President of HRO, and is additionally a member of the Brattle Street Chamber Players, HUFPI, HFAC, and HCO. When she isn’t running around campus carrying a million things (most notably random unnecessary bags and her violin), she can be found writing poetry/journaling, attempting to cook, hating on seltzer, or having deep philosophical conversations with friends in lieu of sleeping.
Iris Sung
Bio: Iris is a freshman violinist in Greenough planning to study math. She enjoys orange juice, sleeping, Stranvinsky, and drinking orange juice while sleeping and listening to Stravinsky.
Moshi Tang
Bio: Moshi is a freshman violinist in Thayer pursuing a dual-degree in violin performance at the New England Conservatory. When he’s not in HRO, sleeping, or eating, Moshi enjoys listening to Mozart, Mahler , and Beethoven, drinking water, and playing soccer.
Catie Thai
Bio: Catie is a junior violinist in Quincy House. She is concentrating in Chemistry because she likes drawing hexagons and shooting lasers at the crystals she makes for her research. When she is not running around Sanders taking photos of HRO, she can be found bringing her tiger plushie everywhere she goes, drawing cats on every white/chalk board she sees, and taking detours by the GSD and Prescotts in the hopes of finding Remy the Harvard cat (please let her know if you see him).
Dacha Thurber
Bio: Dacha is a junior violinist in Quincy House studying Music and Computer Science. Aside from HRO, he is an active member of the Harvard College Opera. He is a chocolate taster for Lindt & Sprüngli and has never won an Olympic gold medal or Nobel Peace Prize.
Sava Thurber
Bio: Sava is a freshman violinist from Exeter, New Hampshire now living in Canaday. When he isn't frolicking in the dewy meadows at sunrise or tending to his indoor shrimp farm at night, he can be found sprinting to his microwave to open it with one second remaining on the timer. Sava's favorite snack is New Hampshire county fair style fried butter with cheese (microwaved, obviously). Occasionally, Sava also partakes in pursuing his Engineering studies.
Lea Wang
Bio: Lea is a sophomore violinist from Holland, PA living in Kirkland House . When she's not sitting criss cross applesauce in a library carrel, you can find her mysteriously moseying the banks of the Charles, devising new cranberry cocktail creations in her dhall to contain the spread of her suitemate's cranberry coketail gospel, or spending time with her stuffed twin dinosaurs (@olivernbabish on Instagram).

Claire Yoo
Bio: Claire is a freshman violinist in Wigglesworth concentrating in Integrative Biology. Previously a member of the National Youth Orchestra-USA, she finds great enjoyment in Vitali’s Chaconne, chai tea lattes, and a good slice of New York style pizza. She can often be found sleeping on the Cabot couches, sleeping in her GenEd lectures, or sleeping head down in Annenberg. Life’s little pleasures.

Bio: Katherine is a violist and a bona fide morning person. You can find her having really long conversations in the dining halls or engrossed in a library book when she should be studying.

Bio: Josh is a senior violist hailing from New York now living in Quincy House and is concentrating in Economics. He enjoys running, eating Playa Bowl, and playing Smash Bros with his roommates.
Victor Cai
Bio: Victor is a sophomore violist in Dunster House studying Electrical Engineering. A lover of Gustaf Holst’s Music, Victor is notorious for taking far too many pset courses. Late at night, he drowns his troubles with a tall glass of 55.3M Oxidane.
Esther Clayton
Bio: Esther is a freshman in Grays Hall and member of the Harvard Baroque ensemble. She is also internally a grandma and can be seen at any time of day or night with a set of yarn and needles either in her hands or close nearby. A future molecular and cellular biology concentrator, she has resigned herself to a future of pset misery.
Isabel Dean
Bio: Isabel is a freshman violist originally from Sydney, Australia now living in Thayer. Aside from HRO, Isabel is additionally involved in Harvard Radcliffe Modern Dance Company and Harvard Chorus. When she’s not playing viola or sleeping, Isabel can be found sitting on her rug with her friends and giving them tarot card readings (they’re real, she swears).

Bio: Ben is a first-year violist planning to concentrate in Applied Math or Electrical Engineering. In his newfound free time after quitting League of Legends, he can be found doodling, walking slightly faster than everyone else, or working on all sorts of puzzles.
Mercer Greenwald
Bio: Mercer is a violist pursuing a PhD in Germanic Languages and Literatures. Her favorite piece is Daphnis et Chloe, and she also enjoys salsa and chips, ice cream, petting dogs, and coffee.
Joshua Halberstadt
Bio: Joshua is a junior violist in Kirkland House studying Mechanical Engineering. An aficionado of all things mechanical, he also participates in the Harvard Satellite Team and Harvard Organ Society (as he can tell you, organs can be viewed as a complex piece of machinery in addition to a musical instrument). In all of his free time, he runs (ultramarathons).

Bio: Sabrina is a sophomore violist from College Station, Texas in Leverett House studying Computer Science and Statistics. Outside of HRO, she plays on the club volleyball team and is a member of HDAG and T4SG. When she isn’t performing or sleeping, she can likely be found several coffee cups in, psetting late into the night.

Bio: Jess is a sophomore violist in Leverett House from the beautiful beach town of Titahi Bay in Porirua, New Zealand. Outside of HRO, she loves singing, song-writing, running along the river, and drawing. She's also a member of the Harvard Callbacks and hopes to one day figure out what her concentration will be.

Bio: Bella is a junior violist in Dunster House concentrating in Neuroscience. She hails from Illinois, and when she isn’t playing viola or being a neuroscientist, she can be found making waffles early in the morning.

Bio: Brendon is a sophomore violist living in Winthrop House, concentrating in Music and Economics. He is HRO’s Operations Director, and aside from HRO he is a member of Brattle Street Chamber Players and Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners. He enjoys binge watching movies, Felipe’s burritos, and is a fan of Dictator Nick’s lengthy emails ;). If he isn’t sleeping, practicing, or at rehearsal, then he’s probably at Hemenway gym with HRO oboist John Russell.

Bio: Sidney is a sophomore violist living in Leverett House, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Government. Aside from HRO, she is also a member of The Harvard Crimson. Her additional hobbies include sleeping, eating string cheese, loving fruit-based beverages, and listening to Prokofiev.

Bio: Claire is a freshman violist in Greenough studying Statistics and Computer Science. A night owl, Claire loves going on late-night walks and sleeping through her alarms the following morning. She is wide awake during HRO rehearsals, however – thanks to her matcha addiction.

Bio: Erin is a senior in Adams who studies Statistics and plays viola in HRO. Outside of (lovingly) annoying her standpartner during rehearsals and (also lovingly) annoying her roommate when (if? haha jk) she practices, she also enjoys taking too many pictures of sunsets on the Charles, trying not to fall asleep in lecture, and telling viola jokes at her own expense.

Bio: Masako is a freshman violist in Canaday D studying Environmental Engineering and History of Science. Outside of HRO, she can be found with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra and the Horntails quadball team. If you find her, you'll likewise find crunchy morsels from Trader Joe's.

Anthony Choi
Bio: Anthony is a senior cellist living in Currier concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. Aside from HRO, Anthony is additionally involved in HCCG. He loves late-night chips and hummus, morning lifts, Bach, and lattes.
Eugene Ye
Bio: Eugene is a junior cellist in Cabot House concentrating in Applied Math-Econ and Computer Science. Aside from HRO, he is a member of BDC, CRGF, and the Signet; otherwise, you can find him listening to Ravel or sleeping.
Nicole Fang
Bio: Nicole is a sophomore cellist in Kirkland House concentrating in Applied Math-Econ and Computer Science. Outside of HRO, she loves to dance, paint, and spend late nights at the library.
Sol Gutierrez-Lara
Bio: Sol is a sophomore cellist in Eliot House concentrating in Astrophysics and Physics. In addition to HRO, she is also involved in the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra. Sol loves listening to music, sitting down for a coffee and a good talk with friends or family, and cashew squares from Costco. She also loves the outdoors and being surrounded by nature, with a special place in her heart for bicycle touring, camping, and the open road that calls.

Bio: Bryan is a senior cellist in Quincy House studying Computer Science. Originally from Plano, Texas, Bryan enjoys Diet Dr. Pepper, comparing various recordings of all the Chopin piano etudes, and dry scooping creatine. He's always down for a challenge in BattleBit Remastered.
Elizabeth Norris
Bio: Elizabeth is a freshman cellist from Rochester, New York now living in Canaday. Outside of HRO, she is involved in Brattle Street Chamber Players and PBHA. Elizabeth’s favorite drink is a dirty chai, and she loves late-night ice cream runs and Dot’s Pretzels.
Kobby Owusu
Bio: Kobby is a freshman cellist in Straus concentrating in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Music and is also an HRO stage manager. When he’s not listening to Rachmaninoff or catching the latest NBA highlights, Kobby can be found sipping orange juice and eating fried plantains his mom makes.
Justin Shaw
Bio: Justin is a freshman cellist in Thayer planning to concentrate in Human Evolutionary Biology. Outside of HRO, Justin is a part of PBHA Alzheimer’s Buddies and Club Baseball. When he’s not running by the Charles or at Hemenway, he is likely drinking a matcha latte or eating yogurt with granola but sadly no fresh blueberries.
William Tan
Bio: William is a first-year cellist from Chicago, Illinois staying in Straus. He enjoys playing chess, listening to Rachmaninoff and Mahler, and inhaling burritos at El Jefe's. While his name is prone to some particularly funny nicknames, if you call him one he may choose not to respond to you.
Sam Powell
Bio: Sam is a junior cellist in Cabot House studying Economics. He is an avid New York Knicks fan, contrary to the fact that he is not a New Yorker. In the early morning, he is usually drinking too much coffee, but in the evenings he is an active poker player.
Dylan Wu
Bio: Dylan is a sophomore cellist in Winthrop House concentrating in Physics and pursuing a dual degree in Music at the New England Conservatory. In addition to HRO, he is a member of the Harvard Data Analytics Group, HFAC, the International Genetically Engineered Machine Club, Harvard Brain Review, and the Astrophotography Club. When not playing music, he enjoys SCUBA diving, crafting paper fighter jet models, and flying a drone to capture aerial cinematography.

Amy Hwang
Bio: Amy is a sophomore flutist in Eliot concentrating in Government and pursuing a dual degree in Music at the New England Conservatory. In addition to HRO, Amy is also part of the Harvard Consulting for Business and the Environment and the Harvard Institute of Politics Policy Program. In her free time, Amy enjoys eating tteokbokki, making vlogs, and buying little treats to reward herself for studying.
Carolyn Lau
Bio: Carolyn is a freshman flutist living in Canaday and concentrating in Economics (also interested in Gov and Psych)! She loves eating Asian food (which doesn't exist at Annenberg) and coffee. If you’re ever looking for her, you can probably find her in the Cabot library basement, at a boba shop watching Dance Moms, or hopefully going to the gym.
Elizabeth Li
Bio: Liz is a senior flautist in Quincy House studying Computer Science and Statistics with a secondary in Economics. After a two-year hiatus from HRO, she’s excited to be dusting off her flute and playing some great repertoire with equally great people. If you happen to be in a giving mood, her favorite drink in the Square is Tatte's iced vanilla latte - less ice, and almond milk ;)
Ariel Wang
Bio: Ariel is a junior flutist in Mather House studying Neuroscience, Economics, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Aside from HRO, she is additionally involved in CBE, Harvard Alternative Investment, and Smart Women Securities. Ariel is also a pianist and loves Ravel and Shostakovich – when she’s not switching between instruments, she can be found doing early-morning hot yoga or snacking on jasmine and sea salt ganache ice cream from Honeycomb.
Oboe
Ashley Gong
Bio: Ashley is a junior oboist in Eliot House concentrating in Computer Science and Classics. Aside from HRO, she is involved in Tech for Social Good, the Harvard Open Data Project, the Mozart Society Orchestra, and Datamatch. Her favorite orchestral work is Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, and she loves to snack on anything sweet that comes her way.
Thomas Juhasz
Bio: Thomas is a sophomore oboist from the greater Boston area and currently residing in Eliot House. When he is not practicing oboe in his room or rehearsing with his fellow oboists, he can be found going on morning runs, reading texts in Ancient Greek, and sleepily debating philosophical topics with his roommate at 2 am.
Liv Oster
Bio: Liv is a junior oboist living in Eliot House and concentrating in English. Aside from HRO, she is also a tutor at the writing center. She loves eating HRO oboist Sunny Tang’s delicious baked goods, taking walks by the Charles, and curling up in pjs with a good book, chai tea, and a fuzzy blanket. When she isn’t taking shots of reed water, you may find her trying to learn the recorder or dabbling in swing dancing. Before developing these quirky interests, she was (perhaps understandably) a child who went to circus camp. And yes, she can ride a unicycle.
John Russell
Bio: John is a sophomore oboist living in Dunster House and concentrating in Statistics. He is a tour guide, a bassist in a rock band, and a member of Product Lab. Outside of HRO, his evenings are spent at stat110 office hours or at the gym with his good friend HRO violist Brendon Lau. In his free time, he also enjoys bowling, reading, and sampling various desserts.

Bio: Sunny is a senior oboist in Adams House and concentrating in Chemistry and Physics. She originally hails from Houston, Texas and is renowned for holding her breath beyond human capacity should Fed require her to do so during solos.
Puyuan Ye
Bio: Puyuan is a freshman oboist from Shanghai, China now living in Straus thinking of studying Computational Linguistics. His favorite composer is Antonio Pasculli, and is thus referred to as "the Pasculli kid" by his oboe teacher. The Pasculli kid is additionally passionate about soccer, badminton, sleeping, video games, and lemonade.
Clarinet
Louis Auxenfans
Bio: Louis is a freshman clarinetist in Matthews studying Economics and Statistics and is also HRO’s Treasurer. He loves waking up early to run by the Charles, and stays awake post-run by drinking copious amounts of earl gray tea with milk. He has dreams of being a conductor a lá Bernstein, but they’re not as fantastical as his eternal optimism that his soccer team, Tottenham Hotspur, will finally win a trophy.
Clara Chen
Bio: Clara is a junior clarinetist in Adams House concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Music. In addition to playing clarinet in HRO, she is also a pianist and content chair for the Harvard College Piano Society. Outside of music, she is involved in the Harvard Data Analytics Group, AADT, and the Harvard Radcliffe Modern Dance Company.
Alex Li
Bio: Alex is a sophomore clarinetist in Adams concentrating in Chemistry and Computer Science. At HRO, he serves as part of the social committee on the general board. In addition to HRO, he also plays Club Tennis. Once he successfully finds the will to get out of bed each morning, he may be found drinking coffee with a bagel in the Smith Center or exploring Boston to try the city’s best ramen spots.
Veronica Li
Bio: Veronica is a sophomore clarinetist in Winthrop House studying Psychology and Music and pursuing a dual degree in Clarinet at the New England Conservatory. She is HRO’s Creative Director, and when she isn’t in HRO or listening to Brahms, she is likely eating a Felipe’s burrito or drinking a Panera mango smoothie (and actively adding restaurant ratings to Beli).
Cadee Lee
Bio: Cadee is a first-year clarinetist in Matthews with an intended concentration in Neuroscience and a possible secondary in Computer Science or Music. Outside of HRO, she loves cafe hopping and filling her camera roll with too many photos for her storage to handle.
Jacob Mandelbrot
Bio: Jacob is a sophomore clarinetist in Quincy studying computer science. Originally a resident of Wisconsin, he appreciates large bodies of water including his personal favorite, the Black Sea. He has significant artistic respect for HRO’s wonderful music director and also enjoys oversized pillows.
Omar Wahby
Bio: Omar is a senior clarinetist in Quincy House pursuing a double concentration in Computer Science and Economics. Previously a clarinetist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra, Omar enjoys Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, green tea, and running. Outside of HRO, Omar is additionally involved in Harvard College Opera, the Harvard Ballet Orchestra, and the Harvard Undergraduate Data Analytics Group.
Bassoon
Rahul Prasad
Bio: Rahul is a sophomore bassoonist (very rare) in Cabot House studying Computer Science (very common) and Music. Outside of HRO, he is part of HUUSL (Harvard Undergraduate Urban Sustainability Lab). Otherwise, many of his passions revolve around coffee, including strange cups manufactured in the math lounge and free cups given out by the Capital One Cafe. Unfortunately, this does not stop him from persistently waking up after dhall lunch hours.

Bio: Merle is a junior bassoonist at Harvard Medical School.
Horn
Roshen Chatwal
Bio: Roshen is a sophomore french horn player in Kirkland House studying Economics and pursuing a dual degree in Music at the New England Conservatory. When he isn’t listening to (or playing) Mahler 5, he is likely eating hot cheetos or doing karaoke.
Anselme Dojat
Bio: Anselme is a Teaching Assistant in Romance Languages and Literatures and plays the French horn. He previously graduated with a degree in literature and enjoys drinking wine with friends, talking about History, and watching a good movie late at night.
Anna Teunis
Bio: Anna is a junior french horn player in Currier House concentrating in English. Aside from HRO, she is WHRB’s Classical Music Director, a member of the Harvard Advocate, and is deeply passionate about Mahler.
Daniel Berk
Bio: Daniel is a junior french horn player in Dunster House studying Economics. He is originally from Boston and is a big New England sports fan.
Isabelle Lee
Bio: Isabelle is a freshman French horn player from the Boston area now living in Greenough. Outside of HRO, she is involved in AADT and PBHAs HULC and SCAS and in her free time can be found trying to be in bed by 9 or making a delectable Berg coffee when she inevitably fails.
Nick Lee
Bio: Nick is a French Horn player and junior in Quincy House studying economics (and government). Nick serves as HRO’s President (read: Elected Dictator) and enjoys sending emails, organizing meetings, and generally power-tripping over the rest of HRO Board. You can often find him in Lamont after midnight, eating anywhere other than Quincy Dhall, and completing the system of German Idealism.
Chris Li
Bio: Chris is a sophomore french horn player in Mather House studying Computer Science with a secondary in Sociology. In addition to HRO, he is also a member of CBE, AADT, and Harvard China Forum. When he isn’t sleeping, sleeping, or sleeping, he is likely eating clarinet reeds (buffet brand), drinking Lychee Calpico (mixed with valve oil, of course), or listening to Brahms 3.
Ishaan Modi
Bio: Ishaan is a senior french horn player in Eliot House studying Neuroscience at Harvard and music performance at NEC as part of the dual-degree program. His athletic passions include club tennis and intramural sports. His late night passions include grabbing Noch’s at 1am right before they close, an exhilarating habit that occasionally leads him to snoozing his alarm early in the morning.

Bio: Keneil is a sophomore french horn player in Lowell House majoring in Neuroscience. Outside of HRO, he enjoys sports, hanging out with friends, and sleeping.

Bio: Abe is a senior french horn player in Currier House studying Computer Science with a secondary in German. Outside of HRO, he is active in the Harvard Undergraduate Cybersecurity Club and the Harvard Catholic Center.

Charlie Chen
Bio: Charlie is a freshman trumpetist in Straus interested in studying Computer Science. A Philly native, he is a die-hard Birds fan and misses Wawa. He never sleeps through lecture or leaves them early because that would be irresponsible.
Harry Epstein
Bio: Harry is a junior trumpet player in Quincy House studying Psychology with a secondary in Music. When he isn't playing chess on his phone instead of counting rests during rehearsals, he can usually be found complaining about his premed problem sets that would take much less time if he just did them instead of playing chess on his phone while not counting rests during rehearsals. Harry also enjoys Mel Brooks films, rooting for the once-glorious, now-hopeless Patriots, and admiring Ruben Fonseca from afar during rehearsals (and not during rehearsals).
Catherine Li
Bio: Catherine is a freshman trumpetist originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan now living in Canaday and planning on concentrating in Engineering. Her favorite weather is 65 degrees and sunny, and she loves country music, the outdoors, as well as any type of potato chips or seltzer. Catherine is also a member of the sailing team, and if you look close enough, you might find her on the verge of capsizing into the Charles.

Bio: James is a sophomore trumpet player in Leverett House studying Government. He originally hails from Oklahoma City, and besides music, he is also a rock climber, a rower, an editor for the Harvard Political Review, and a baker.
Hanna Pak
Bio: Hanna is a senior in Mather House studying Computer Science. Outside of HRO rehearsals, you can find them playing video games, training for triathlons, or going to raves. During HRO rehearsals, they usually just get bullied by the rest of the trumpet section. Please make it stop. Just because they are short does not mean this is okay.

Izhaan Ahmed
Bio: Izhaan is a first-year trombonist in Holworthy with an undecided major due to his propensity to catastrophize. He enjoys closed-eyed walking at night, Stravinsky, and going on swings. If there are swings, he is going on them.
Bobby Burns
Bio: Bobby is a trombone player and a junior at Harvard Law School. His ideal day includes sleeping in, perusing the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology to Mahler 2, and grabbing late-night quesadillas at Felipe’s.
Thomas Gustafson
Bio: Thomas is a junior trombonist studying Social Studies and Statistics with a secondary in Music. Outside of HRO, he plays trombone in the Hasty Pudding Theatricals Pit Orchestra and is on the Harvard Red Line Ultimate Frisbee Team.
Tuba
Rebecca Hirschfeld
Bio: Rebecca is a freshman tuba player living in Pennypacker and concentrating in Economics. Outside of HRO, she can be found fueling up with grapefruit, goldfish, and green apples to prepare for the trek carrying her tuba from Pennypacker to Sanders. And yes, her tubas are pretty heavy.

Bio: Ben is a first-year tuba player from Chicago exiled to the most powerful dorm, Pennypacker. Other than HRO, you can find him singing with the Din & Tonics, watching baseball, eating Jefe’s in Cabot at ungodly hours, or wandering around in the Harvard Forest.

Gabrielle Grant
Bio: Gabrielle is a harpist and senior in Pfoho concentrating in Economics and East Asian Studies. Aside from HRO, she enjoys listening to (or playing) Mahler’s Fifth Symphony and watching K-Dramas (when she should be doing her homework).
Allison Mi
Bio: Allison is a freshman in Mower planning to concentrate in Economics and is HRO's Social Director. When not playing in HRO, you can find her exploring cafes and restaurants in the Square with friends, studying to some Debussy and Bizet playlists, or FaceTiming home to say hi to her pride and joy: her cats!

Trinity Dysis
Bio: Trinity is a freshman percussionist in Apley pursuing a joint concentration in Computer Science and Physics with a double in Applied Math. In addition to HRO, she is also involved in Harvard Computer Society, Women in Physics, Harvard Hacks, and TransHarvard. Despite being lactose intolerant, Trinity has a passion for chocolate milk and is on a quest for the best DHall one (Annenberg currently being in the lead).
Ruben Fonseca
Bio: Ruben is a senior percussionist in Adams House studying Mechanical Engineering. In addition to HRO, he is also a member of HMUN, Club Table Tennis, SHPE, and Fuerza Latina. He enjoys sleeping and popcorn over late-night psetting, is an avid fan of Mahler, and drinks water (he’s hydrated).
Dylan Goodman
Bio: Dylan is a junior percussionist in Dunster House pursuing a joint degree in Government and AFVS with a secondary in Music. Aside from HRO, she is a Harvard Admissions Tour Guide; a photographer for Harvard Athletics, The Crimson, and Harvard Admissions; and a member of the Harvard Jazz Orchestra, Harvard Chabad, and Hillel. You may often find her with a Starbucks Violet Drink or late night Pinocchio’s Pizza in hand (and a camera in the other, of course).

Bio: Joshua is a freshman percussionist in Lionel planning to concentrate in Applied Math and Computer Science. Outside of HRO, Joshua is additionally involved in AADT. When he’s not playing basketball, visiting art museums, or going on late-night hikes with friends, he can most definitely be found in Cabot with a matcha latte in hand.

Bio: William is a sophomore percussionist in Kirkland House concentrating in Neurobiology with a secondary in Computer Science. Aside from HRO, he is also a part of AACF (Asian American Christian Fellowship) andPBHA (Phillips Brooks House Association). Bio: Enoch is a sophomore violinist in Kirkland House studying Mathematics who loves all things music. When he isn’t sight reading chamber music with friends or obsessing over orchestral scores, you may find him chilling out with friends late at night, sipping a salty lime 7-up, or aggressively cringing at insects and any and all romance scenes on TV. Enoch sometimes snacks on spoonfuls of ketchup and/or chicken bouillon powder (when he’s feeling spicy).
